Throughout the year, the New Memphis Teachers’ Lounge series convenes cocktails & conversations happy hours centered on topics that interest you. After a lot of requests for topics related to work/life balance, pursuing interests outside of school, and staying grounded in your identity outside of the classroom, we’re excited to present our first event of the 26-27 school year!

Join us at Babalu East Memphis (Poplar Ave) for Behind the Teacher: Pouring into You with Taylor Price on Tuesday, September 8, from 5:30-7:00pm. Taylor Price is a New Memphis Educator of Excellence and Stride alumna. She is a proud MSCS educator, romance author, and Vanderbilt University doctoral candidate. Taylor is a lifelong learner and passionate advocate for her students and community. Outside of education and writing, Taylor enjoys curating her home and creating welcoming spaces where she can host and connect with the people she loves. As someone who has managed to pursue several of her own interests outside of the classroom, she is poised to help you do the same!
