
“Congressional Briefing: Building an Evidence-Base for Career Connected Learning”
On Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 am ET, the Alliance for Learning Innovation (ALI) will host a Congressional Briefing at the Senate Russell Office Building titled ““Congressional Briefing: Building an Evidence-Base for Career Connected Learning”. This briefing will convene policymakers, funders, researchers, and national advocacy groups around a shared motive to strengthen education R&D infrastructure at the local, state, and federal levels. Discussion will highlight the work ALI has led since their 2025 Congressional Briefing, when they released a Blueprint for the Future of the Federal Role in K–12 Education R&D, and will outline ALI’s upcoming report, Leveraging Education R&D to Support High-Quality Career-Connected Learning: A Federal Policy Agenda. The purpose of this convening is to highlight the importance of federal investment in education innovation and data collection that is responsive to student, educator and community needs nationwide.
