New York has long been a “city of immigrants.” Delve into some of that immigrant history by using primary sources to learn about Jewish immigration between 1880 and 1924, and how those immigrants later became activists for housing reform in the Progressive Era. Leave the workshop with ready-to-use resources from the New York Public Library’s Center for Educators and Schools and the Institute for Curriculum Services. Earn 1 hour of CTLE credit.
