How can we better put student voice and student feedback into action? Join us on May 2nd at 2:00pm (CST) to engage in discussion with Middle Grades Network (MGN) Student Fellowship and its alignment with one of their partner schools, Sumner Math & Science Community Academy. Participants will learn about the process of student voice implementation and understand how direct feedback from students can be used to shift practice. Presenters Naomi Wilfred (MGN School Coach) and Laurie Glick (Sumner Teacher & MGN Team Lead) will also highlight how this work connects to research around adolescent development and the Building Equitable Learning Environments (BELE) Framework.

The To&Through Middle Grades Network works to create educational environments where middle schools thrive by increasing the number of students with attendance at or above 90% and GPAs at or above 3.0 through a meaningful increase in students’ sense of belonging.
