Public School Strong Organizing Meeting: ICE out of our schools and our communities!

Over the past weeks and months, we’ve seen the parents of public school kids harassed, abducted and deported on their way to pick their kids up from school.  We’ve seen ICE pepper spray high school students and arrest educators on school grounds.  We’re seeing proposed bills in states like Tennessee to use public schools to target undocumented families.
We’ve also seen incredible bravery, solidarity and resilience on the part of students, parents, educators, and community members who have gone above and beyond to support and defend each other in the face of these federal invasions.  We all have much to learn from those who have experienced these ICE surges, in cities like Durham, NC, Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN. Join us to learn from leaders on the ground and get tools to protect your community and schools at our February Public School Strong Organizing Meeting.
Join us for the next Public Schools Strong Organizing meeting on Tuesday, February 10th, where parents, family members, educators, and supporters from across the nation gather each month to gain practical tools to promote, protect, and strengthen our public schools.

How to engage with your school board for positive change
How to form a Public School Strong team in your school district
Ways to join a national movement to promote, protect and strengthen our public schools

Folks who attend a Public School Strong Organizing Meeting and take the pledge to organize in their own school district will also be mailed a Public School Strong t-shirt! PSS members will also be given access to toolkits, talking points, deeper trainings, and more to help build the movement for honest, equitable, and fully funded public schools in every school district.
