In a time when culturally relevant and sustaining education (CRSE) and educator diversity face political and structural challenges, this year’s PEDC Summit invites us to move forward unafraid—to resist fear, reimagine what’s possible, and rebuild systems where every learner and educator can thrive.
Building on the 2025 theme “The Power of Solidarity: Diversifying the Educator Workforce, Together,” the 2026 Summit deepens our collective commitment to resist, reimagine, and rebuild. Together, we’ll explore how CRSE can serve as a living force for transformation and healing, while reaffirming educator diversity as essential to equitable, thriving schools.
Daily Themes:
The Transformative Power of CRSE — Grounding in truth, purpose, and the unfinished work of equity and justice.
Resolute in the Face of Fear — Building courageous leadership, advocacy, and systems-level change.
Sustaining the Movement — Centering healing, wellness, and community to sustain long-term transformation.
