Let Freedom Sing: A Juneteenth-July 4th Jubilee Concert Series

Juneteenth-July 4th Jubilee 2026 is a family-friendly series of performances of American music in celebration of Juneteenth and July 4th with an historical narrative about freedom and liberty for all. Presented in communities throughout NYC by MORE Opera, the concerts feature soloists Emmanuel Cruz, Heather Peterson, and Laura Forero-Torres, and an intergenerational community chorus conducted by artistic director Cheryl Warfield. Featured music includes patriotic favorites, lesser known 18th and 19th century American music, and spirituals.
