First 8 Memphis is thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Dr. Walter Gilliam, Executive Director of Buffett Early Childhood Institute. Dr. Gilliam and a panel of local experts will speak on Impact of Implicit Bias and COVID-19 in Relation to Early Care and Education Settings. Dr. Gilliam will be joined by local expert panelists:
- Robin Mayweather, Owner/Executive Director of Red Robin’s Academy
- Dr. Brian Wright, Associate Professor & Program Coordinator of Early Childhood Education – University of Memphis
- Dr. Cherise Clark, Deputy Director of Su Casa Family Ministries
