BIPOC Educational STEM Thinkers (B.E.S.T.) Conference
Marian Wright Edelman’s insight, “it’s hard to be what you can’t see,” underscores the stark reality of limited BIPOC educator representation in our schools. This denies countless students of color the chance to connect with mentors who share their backgrounds.
Acknowledging the significant hurdles faced by BIPOC educators in STEM fields, action is not just necessary, but essential. We’re excited to invite you to our two-day conference, where we’ll cultivate belonging, collaboration, and joy throughout the academic year.
All BIPOC educators, professionals, and community members are welcome to us at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science June 29-30 to address the need for representation, support, and systemic change in education. Through discussions, workshops, and networking, we aim to cultivate community and capacity for change-making in education and drive progress towards inclusivity.
