The Joy of Taking a Learner’s Stance in Math (Even When It Is Uncomfortable)

Attention all K-8 educators, coaches, and school leaders: Please join Bank Street on Wednesday, August 14 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Thursday, August 15 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM for our annual Summer Math Conference!

Through this two-day professional learning opportunity, you’ll explore what lifelong learning in math looks, sounds, and feels like and consider ways to cultivate authentic learner stances. You’ll participate in hands-on sessions and reflective activities that will deepen your understanding of how to support all students in their math exploration, skill development, and comprehension.

This event is a collaboration between the Bank Street Education Center and the Leadership in Mathematics Education Program at the Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
