ADL’s A World of Difference® Institute Invites you to the kick-off for our new A World of Difference Cafe Conversations: Three-Part Educator Series:

Grab your favorite coffee mug and begin your back-to-school routine with ADL Midwest Education!

In this World Café session, experts from the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL’s) A World of Difference® Institute will offer an overview of bias incident trends in K-12 schools and communities. The session will provide educators with tools for responding to incidents of hate and bias and provide opportunities for school leaders to share their experiences and expertise in addressing school incidents. What has worked for your school? What response processes do you need to strengthen? In addition to current data on hate trends and a review of key terminology, the presentation will offer participants opportunities to consider the different kinds of interventions that might be necessary at each stage of an incident (and the incident’s potential escalation) and what schools can do to navigate incidents as they arise.

This conversation series is geared towards school and district leaders/administrators as well as educators in IL, IN, WI, MN, ND, and SD.
