2024 Youth Climate Summit
High school teachers and staff, invite your students to attend the Youth Climate Summit!
Students: Climate change is one of the most important challenges of our time – lead by example and learn how to take action in your school and your community!
Every NYC public high school can send teams of three to five students with one or two adult chaperones.
Students will spend the day outside on Governor’s Island and attend workshops, network with local organizations, learn about environmental justice in NYC, and hear from the Youth Leadership Council – a group of high school students from across NYC. At the end of the Summit, student teams will plan climate actions that they can take in their schools and their communities.
