Undivided Spirit: A Concert of Strength and Unity” is a free concert of opera excerpts and Dominican and African American music arranged by composer and pianist Dr. Patricio Molina on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 7:30 PM at West End Collegiate Church, 245 West 77th Street, New York, NY 10024.  The program includes a dramatic narrative in Spanish and English linking the African Diaspora and colonialism with the concepts of freedom, unity, and the American dream to the music of Harry T. Burleigh, Leslie Adams, Patricio Molina, and others.  This performance coincides with the week of the 2024 national election. Dr. Molina conducts MORE Opera soloists and an intergenerational community chorus from the pianoforte.

This project is made possible in part with funds from Creative Engagement, a regrant program supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) in partnership with the City Council and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
