Uncover the origins of school segregation in New York City and the many ways activists demanded equal educational opportunities for all in the 1950s through 1970s. Using archival materials created and used by the NYC Board of Education, consider the difficult choices parents, teachers, and administrators had to make as they defined what it meant to bring equity into schools.
Participants will receive 1 CTLE hour.
